Fashion has no restrictions.

Hair inspired by Blake Lively a.k.a Serena van der Woodsen & Katie Cassidy (Juliet) from Gossip Girl.
Experiments to find the technique for slightly messy, tweaked, wavy-curly hair.
Schoolies has started and everyone is afraid to go out at night. Haha. Teens on the loose!
I've decided that I would wear whatever I want, dress up or dress down at anytime of the day for little mundane things, celebrations, events and whatnot.
A lot of people tend to dress down in Malaysia for fear of being stared at. It's not right!
I have evidence of that. My beloved Andrea Wu has confessed that her fashion sense adjusts to the country she is in. She feels free to experiment over here in the land down under but is subjected to shorts and a t-shirt back home.
I remember only wearing shorts and spaghetti straps or tank tops. (I barely wear t-shirts because I sweat easily and dark patches under your arms are so not attractive especially when you have to lift your arms to tie a ponytail because it's so hot)
I don't not wear shirts because I want to show more skin. I sweat profusely and rather not stink.
I vow that when I step down from the airplane in Malaysia, I will not be afraid to wear a summer dress to lunch, a casual maxi dress for coffee, curl my hair for a catch up with friends, wear pretty shoes to SS15, put my hair in a messy bun for the effortless look, pull my hair back just because others prefer my hair down (I think I look fine with my hair up anyway), wear pyjamas when I buy fruits and wear my Aladdin pants.
Everyone should be free to experiment with fashion no matter which country you're in. People stare because they think OH WOW.. she looks so stylish, where did she get that top from? (need to go blog shopping to find something similar cause I remember that I have a pair of ripped skinny jeans that has been sitting at the back of the closet that would look great with that top and my mother's vintage vest)
If people say why is she wearing that in the day?
Why do her hair for breakfast?
Banyak mengada.
Who cares? When any of us say that about someone else, we watch Gossip Girl, look through fashion blogs and go why can't we walk around like that? I wish I was in NY, Paris, London.
Make wherever you are your Paris, NY and London!
Why buy beautiful clothes, why have personal style if you're not going to utilise any of it?
Fashion designers and hairdressers are not the only people who have the license to be stylish.
; )
Lets stop wondering what life would be like IF we could all walk around like we've just stepped out of a magazine and yet belong on the streets. There are no ifs, it's absolutely possible. It's all in your head!
P.S: Trend-setting style isn't only meant to reveal itself when the sun sets and the disco lights come on.
